Nigerian troops kidnapped Boko Haram members from western Nigeria
The Nigerian military said it had arrested several suspected Boko Haram militants who attacked a military base in the state of Yobe state of Yobe.
Reports indicate that the militants had abducted villages in the area near Nigeria and Niger.
However, the commander of the Boko Haram militants, Operation Lafia Dole, Major General Nicholas Rogers, told the BBC that military and military forces were kidnapped by Boko Haram.
